Mojo are an online mortgage broker who provides impartial and objective mortgage and protection advice. Our recommendations are solely based on what’s best for our customers. We make our recommendations from a pool of over 70 lenders, however, it’s important to understand that we cannot consider every mortgage product available in the UK market or cover every possible set of personal financial circumstances.
Lenders and affiliates do not compensate us more to recommend one over another, we are simply compensated when a mortgage application is completed. We make every effort to ensure that the mortgage deals shown are as current as possible, however, please note that mortgage rates can change very quickly, so please double check with our mortgage brokers or the individual lenders.
The content on our site is not advice and is for guidance only. Please speak to one of our CeMAP qualified mortgage brokers for personally tailored advice.
Online mortgage brokers, like ourselves, provide the same service as a standard mortgage broker - assisting customers in securing the most suitable mortgage - but without the need for time-consuming face to face meetings. We use bespoke Fintech to assist with the speed of your application, but you'll still speak to a real human mortgage broker.
Mojo Mortgages meets the FCA definition of a whole of market mortgage broker, as we consider and provide advice on a sufficiently large number of regulated mortgage contracts which are generally available from the market.
This means that our mortgage brokers can compare a wide range of mortgages for you to find the most suitable for your circumstances.
Yes, all of our mortgage broker services are provided for free. We are paid by lenders when we successfully arrange a mortgage, so we don’t pass any costs onto you.
The very simple answer is, for more choice. If you go to your own bank, or any individual lender, they can only recommend their own limited product range. If you use a whole-of-market online mortgage broker like ourselves, there are literally thousands of deals that may be more suitable for you.
No, in fact, it can save time to use a mortgage broker. We already know what the lender needs to see, so we can make sure you’ve got everything you need before you apply. As an online mortgage broker we can potentially save you even more time, as you can submit your documents through our online portal. Once submitted to us, you won’t need to worry about sending them to the lender directly - we take care of it for you.
This can be particularly time saving if you’re unsuccessful with one lender, or change your mind, because we’re already prepared for your next application.
All of our mortgage brokers are CeMAP qualified and have at least 2 years experience when they join us. We are regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) under the Financial Services Register number: 478215.
Mojo is a trading style of Life’s Great Limited. You can check our authorisation and permitted activities on the Financial Services Register by visiting the FCA’s website or by contacting the FCA on 0800 111 6768.
Mojo mortgage brokers are impartial, whole-of-market mortgage brokers, whereas brokers attached to lenders are known as ‘tied brokers’.
Tied brokers are bound to one lender, muti-tied brokers are bound to a panel of lenders that they can recommend. Whole-of-market brokers have a broad access to the mortgage market, which tends to include most lenders - except those that will only work direct to customer.
Yes, our mortgage brokers only ever recommend mortgages that are suitable to your specific needs. Ethically, this is absolutely what we uphold as a brand. However, Mojo mortgage brokers are also bound by the regulations of the FCA, which does not allow brokers to benefit from pushing inappropriate mortgage products.
