Mojo Specialist Service - Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Mojo Specialist service ("Specialist Service") provided by Mojo Mortgages ("we", "us", "our"). By engaging with our Service, you ("you", "the customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are specific to the Specialist Service and are supplemental to our standard Mojo Mortgages Terms & Conditions and our Terms of Advisory. For any matters not covered in these Terms, our standard terms will apply.
1. The Specialist Service
The Specialist Service is a paid-for service for the packaging and submission of your buy-to-let mortgage application to the lender.
2. Our Fee
2.1. Our fee for the Specialist Service is a one-time, non-refundable fee of £499 per application (Application Fee). The Application Fee is payable per application and covers all applicants for a single transaction.
2.2. What does the Application Fee Cover? Whilst all mortgage advice provided by Mojo Mortgages is free of charge, the Application Fee is charged purely for the administrative service of packaging and submitting your full mortgage application to the lender.
2.3. When is the Application Fee payable? The Application Fee only becomes due & payable when you have received our free advice and have instructed us to proceed with the packaging and submission of your full mortgage application by agreeing to these Terms.
2.4. How will it be paid? The Application Fee is payable online via a secure payment link.
3. Refunds
The Application Fee is non-refundable once paid, except in the specific circumstance where Mojo Mortgages is unable to secure a mortgage offer for you from a suitable lender.
4. Our Responsibilities
We agree to: (a) Act in your best interests at all times in the provision of the Specialist Service based on the information you provide. (b) Communicate with you clearly and regularly throughout the process. (c) Handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to: (a) Provide full, accurate, open, timely and true information regarding your personal and financial circumstances. You will remain responsible for any incomplete and/inaccurate information that we send to the lender as part of your application. (b) Provide all requested documentation in a timely manner. (c) Inform us immediately of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your application. (d) Read all documentation carefully before proceeding to pay the Application Fee. (e) Pay the Application Fee when you instruct us to provide the Specialist Service.
6. Complaints
Should you be unhappy with any aspect of our service, please let us know. You can request a copy of our complaints procedure by contacting us directly. If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may be entitled to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
